My teen daughter loves to wear Ashley Stewart summer dresses ashleystewart.com. They come in bright contrasting colors, not baggy or shapeless like the ones so many other stores sell. And the length is just right to show what my daughter dares to bare. Highly recommended! |

Old Navy has a very nice plus size section, but only on their website but the quality is excellent. I don't know how plus size you are but they do have some things in the store that are bigger sizes, their pants run to an 18 in the store and shirts to XXL. I also shop at JCPenny's for pants. Target as silly as that sounds. Fashion Bug as well. Hope you have fun shopping, I know plus size shopping can be hard. I'm plus size as well. |

Those stores are good ones. Also, a lot of stores have plus sized stuff sometimes- so you could type in the brand name you want and your size on ebay and something might come up. I wear a size 16 and I shop at H &M and Forever 21. The trick is to find clothing that is a good material and would flatter you. Sometimes clothes are meant to be worn bigger on a size 10/ 12 person, and you can wear them and look good in it but it just fits more snug. Try on stuff that is stretchy. Like I have a size 10 skirt, but the material is stretch so instead of a the business skirt it's supposed to be, it's just a really cute mini skirt on me. Also Old Nave, TJ Max, and Marshals has good stuff with a plus sized junior section. Hope this helps! |

There's a lot more choice on-line than in most stores. Some ideas that haven't been mentioned yet include indy boutiques like SWAK, urban desingers like Dereon, and department stores like Macy's. You can find these and many more in our Young and Trendy Plus-Size Shopping Directory: elegantplus.com/ Plus-Size-Clothing-Mall/ trendy-plus-size-clothing.htm |
