Question: Suggestions for plus size pants?

I am looking for plus size pants that I can buy in stores or order online. Online would actually be preferrable since we are a long way from any malls. I am a teacher so these are pants for a professional work environment. I have heard Old Navy is pretty good for plus size pants. I have not shopped in Lane Bryant in a while, but their pants used to be made more for women who carried their weight in their stomach and had no butt. I am exactly the opposite so I never had much luck there, but maybe they've changed? Fashion Bug seems to have pants that are either elastic waist, too casual, or have pants with rips and tears manufactured in since that seems to be the style now. Here is what I am looking for: - Durable pants with a more classic style that I can wear for years - Khaki, navy, brown, olive, other neutrals, or pinstripes will work best. No jeans! - Carpenter or cargo styles are OK - Prefer straight leg and/ or boot cut - I need pants that are cut fuller through the butt and thighs and tighter in the waist. - Comfort is important - I have no problem finding one pair of pants that fits and buying them in every color - I do not like pants with elastic waistbands! Buttons, slides, snaps, and zippers please! - If online, stores with low or free shipping - If online, stores with an easy return policy - I do not really want to pay more than $40 or so per pair, less would be great. I know, you get what you pay for. I got this job in August and was 5 months pregnant. I had the baby in late Dec and now have an extremely limited wardrobe for my bottom half. Any help anyone can offer would be great! Thanks! |
